OVERVIEW:
Silipex is a new lipophilic complex of silybin (the main active constituents of silymarin) with phosphatidylcholin (form lecithin), this complex exhibits relative bioavailibility 10 folds higher than that of regular silymarin.
Silipex allows silybin to reach the target organ, the liver, in enough concentrations which are reported to be effective in several models of liver intoxication and to fit with the most important molecular mechanisms observed, such as the antioxidant and the stimulation of protein synthesis in hepatocytes. |
